Shooting Raw 2011 Submissions

You’ve shot your images, you’ve picked your three and now time to edit those shots.

Processing restrictions:
a) All images submitted must be black and white.
b) Each photograper will nominate their chosen black and white conversion method up to 5 minutes before their walk-thru of the location. This must be freely available in or for their nominated software. The same method will be used for all submitted images.
c) Images may be pushed/pulled up to 2 stops, but all images must be adjusted in the same fashion. Such intent must be declared upon completion of shooting.
d) Images may be merged by addition method in digital processing if the photographer declares intent to do so, and nominates the images to be so combined, upon completion of shooting.
e) Image may be sharpened by a method nominated by the photographer upon completion of shooting.

Fn1: Exposure in this case is any opening of the shutter of your camera. It is permissible to multiply expose a frame of film or to merge by addition two adjacent images in sequence in digital processing.

Cropping is limited to 20% of the image. ie – the image must have 80% of its original image.
Sharpening is allowed in whole but not part of the image.

Submissions

Email your three images to Pat at a max length of 2000 pixels @ 72dpi by the 19th of November.
